Vehicle, M.D. brings OBD2 trouble codes, sensor readings and saved scans together on iPhone and iPad. Version 1.0 is being prepared for release.

Additional UDS/KWP fault data from supported control units is presented separately from standard OBD2 results. Coverage depends on the vehicle and adapter; this is not a guarantee of full-system diagnostics for every make.

What you need

The app requires iOS/iPadOS 26 or later. To read your own vehicle, you need an OBD2/EOBD-compatible vehicle and a supported Wi-Fi or Bluetooth LE diagnostic adapter. The adapter is not included. Not every ELM327 adapter is compatible, and the vehicle determines which sensors and diagnostic data are available. Online VIN identification requires an internet connection.

The app can be tried for free. A one-time in-app purchase unlocks live data from an adapter and removes the limits on saved vehicles and scans. There is no subscription.

Trouble codes are clues, not a definitive repair diagnosis. Clearing a code does not fix its cause. Use the app only while safely parked.
