Well I'm not sure what you'd like to see here. Please inform me! Maybe I should create a basic lesson how to send and receive data from an installed MIDI interface. Anyway, for those who can't wait, there's a bit of sample source code for Visual C++ available. A simple class encapsulating the basic MIDI I/O functionality of winmm.lib (aka mmsystem.dll) including a driver select dialog. It's one of my first C++ sources after migrating from Pascal, so please excuse the style and don't hesitate mailing me improvements and comments!
