Introducing WinChord32 Version 0.3 - NEWS: PLEASE READ BELOW

This is a screenshot from the upcoming WinChord32, a native ChoPro file editor, displayer, converter etc...

This is a brief feature list:

  • File format is compatible to the standard .chopro format developed by Mr. Doron & Mr. LeClerc.
  • Split Windows Desktop, in one pane you can edit the ChoPro file, in the other you can see, what the converted output will look like
  • Syntax Highlighting in the editor pane for commands, comments, known chords, unknown chords etc.
  • Full customization of the output, you can change the font for the title, the subtitle, the chords, the text and the comments.
  • Synchronized Update. Whenever you change something in the editor, you'll see it immediately in the output window.
  • Prints to every Windows printer, including GDI, Postscript printers...
  • Handle as many songs as you like in ONE file.
  • Built-In song transpose function.
  • Built-In Syntax checker.
  • Graphical chord editor.
  • Win95 user interface guidelines conform.
  • etc...

Important note to all who mailed about WinChordPro, please mail again! I had a harddrive crash and lost all your addresses.

If you're interested in talking about this project, testing an early beta release or if you want to have special features, then mail.

Remember that the best time to ask for features is during the developing of the application :-)

Unfortunately, at the moment, due to my studies, I don't have much time developing. But all who have mailed can be sure that I continue developing in 3rd quarter 1997 and they'll receive my response as well as the first beta version of WinChordPro32!
