This page applies to software products sold on vanille.de, including CANcorder. Seller details and contact information can be found in the Legal Notice (Impressum).
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Product descriptions, supported platforms, trial limitations, compatibility information, and installation notes are shown on the relevant product pages.
When you purchase downloadable software from this site, you receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the product for your own personal or internal business purposes, subject to the product description, any license key or activation terms delivered with the product, and applicable law.
You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the software unless a separate written agreement explicitly allows it.
Orders are placed online. Payments are processed by Paddle, which acts as Merchant of Record for checkout, payment collection, invoicing, and applicable sales-tax or VAT handling.
After successful payment, you will receive access to the software, a download, and/or a license key via the checkout confirmation flow or by email, depending on the product.
The price payable for a product is shown before you complete the purchase in Paddle checkout. Any applicable VAT, sales tax, or similar charges are calculated based on your billing details and shown during checkout before payment is finalized.
If you believe you were charged in error, purchased the wrong product, made a duplicate purchase, or the software does not function materially as described on your supported platform, please reach out via the contact details in the Legal Notice and include your Paddle order number.
For initial software purchases made through Paddle, refund requests are generally considered within 30 days of purchase. To evaluate a technical refund request, I may ask for a short description of the problem, your operating system version, and any relevant logs or screenshots.
Refunds are typically not granted for problems caused by unsupported systems, third-party hardware or drivers outside the documented compatibility scope, or a change of mind after substantial use. If a refund is approved, any related license may be deactivated.
For payment-related issues, you may also contact Paddle support through the purchase confirmation email or receipt.
By completing a purchase for downloadable software and receiving immediate access, you request immediate performance of the contract. Where applicable under consumer law, this may affect any statutory withdrawal right for digital content once delivery has begun. This does not limit any refund that is offered under the policy above or any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded.
